Jolene: …right, well it’s kind of like that tapas restaurant in Chicago I was telling you about on our last date, it has this—

Crispin: Wait, that was a date?

Jolene: Uh, was I not supposed to call it that? You texted and we made plans and met up for drinks and like…you paid for the first round and everything.

Crispin: I dunno if I’d call it a date.

Jolene: Really? Even though then we walked down to the waterfront and talked for a long time? And made out for a while and we’d, like, sobered up by then? And then you walked me all the way back to my subway stop and we made out in the boulevard in front of the stairs for like, 10 minutes, and then you texted like five days later and now we’re hanging out again?

Crispin: Well, exactly. We’re hanging out. I don’t wanna like, give you the wrong impression or anything.

Jolene [looks puzzled]

Crispin [goes in for a kiss]
